We’re officially through bye weeks and onto the final playoff push. With just one month left until the postseason begins, we have a number of teams jockeying for position, and a few outsiders chomping at the bit for a Wild Card opportunity. Without further ado, let’s jump into the APC Week 15 Power Rankings.
Detroit Lions (LW: 1) - They just keep rolling. But will injuries on defense eventually be too much?
Philadelphia Eagles (3) - Brandon Graham just misspoke, folks. Nothing to see here!
Buffalo Bills (2) - They drop a spot with the close loss, but Josh Allen can take solace in the thousands of fantasy playoff bids he clinched.
Kansas City Chiefs (4) - They are doing seances and sacrifices under the stadium.
Baltimore Ravens (6) - With just one game against a contender after the bye, they’re in great position to make a run.
Minnesota Vikings (10) - Sam Darnold continues to force the Vikings into a very interesting contract decision this offseason.
Pittsburgh Steelers (7) - This week’s game against the Eagles has game of the year potential.
Green Bay Packers (5) - A Thursday heartbreaker knocks them out of division contention, but this team has still only lost to other NFC North teams for two months now.
Los Angeles Chargers (8) - An already thin receiving corps looked hopeless against the Chiefs, but the close loss is something to build on once Ladd McConkey is back.
Denver Broncos (9) - They have a chance to basically clinch their playoff spot against the Colts this weekend; a big sigh of relief with games against the Chargers and Chiefs coming up.
Seattle Seahawks (13) - They’re suddenly in full command of the NFC West. Can they stay hot against the NFC North to end the season?
Washington Commanders (12) - Heading to New Orleans off the bye is the perfect game to get Jayden Daniels rolling into his first playoffs.
Houston Texans (15) - Can CJ Stroud return to form in the last month of the season? That will determine whether this team is worth paying attention to heading into January.
Los Angeles Rams (18) - Turns out getting healthy was pretty important! The defense is a mess, but Stafford and co. give them a fighting chance in any playoff game.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (14) - Finally over .500 again and benefiting from the disaster in Atlanta.
Arizona Cardinals (11) - Arizona simply has to convince Kyler Murray that every month is September and October.
Miami Dolphins (16) - Creeping up ever so slightly a very tall mountain to climb to the postseason.
Cincinnati Bengals (17) - Joe Burrow and the Bengals finally win a close one and he is subsequently robbed. A cursed season for all.
Indianapolis Colts (20) - At 6-7, the playoffs start this weekend for the Colts. Beat the Broncos, and you have a shot at a wildcard and even the division crown.
San Francisco 49ers (22) - The RB carousel continues in SF. Old friend Patrick Taylor may be up next!
Atlanta Falcons (19) - At least Kirk Cousins passed the 36 mph mark throwing the ball this weekend.
Chicago Bears (21) - Deep into the first half, the Bears had under 10 yards of offense. No new coach boost here.
Carolina Panthers (26) - For those counting, that’s 3 straight close games against contenders. Bryce Young!
Cleveland Browns (23) - The last two weeks are a good reminder that this team is indeed atrocious despite the good vibes and great interviews from Jameis Winston.
Dallas Cowboys (25) - Rico Dowdle is taking control of his new lead back job, but that’s about the only positive here after a blown lead in primetime and a DeMarvion Overshown injury.
New York Jets (27) - The playoff drought officially continues. Things looked… ok against Miami, but the team is still rudderless and Garrett Wilson is not too happy!
New Orleans Saints (24) - You can practically guarantee that Derek Carr isn’t coming back this season despite a strong stretch from New Orleans recently. The offense is likely DOA with Spencer Rattler and Jake Haener.
New England Patriots (28) - There’s so much to fix here, but beefing up the offensive line should be a priority (along with not winning any more games and keeping that draft pick nice and high).
Jacksonville Jaguars (30) - Beating the Titans may have been disastrous for their top pick chances, but beating your division rival with Mac Jones at the helm IS pretty funny.
Tennessee Titans (29) - Six points against a division rival is the biggest alarm bell possible for Brian Callahan’s regime. Things may look very different in a month’s time.
Las Vegas Raiders (31) - Sincere McCormick, your name will be spoken in bars for decades to come.
New York Giants (32) - Malik Nabers’ “I ain’t pay for the plane” quote has people asking a lot of questions already answered by his quote.
That’s it for our week 15 power rankings! Check back next week as we recap the week’s action and examine who‘s headed for presents and who’s opening a big lump of coal in two weeks.
