A key member of the sidelined contingent at La Liga giants Real Madrid is ahead of schedule in his recovery from injury.
That’s according to **[Marca](https://www.marca.com/futbol/2024/12/11/camavinga-apunta-intercontinental.html)**, who point towards Eduardo Camavinga as the player in question.
Midfielder Camavinga, for his part, has been sidelined since late last month.
As much comes owing to a thigh injury suffered en route to Real Madrid’s Champions League defeat at the hands of Liverpool at Anfield.
The Frenchman has since been forced to sit out a quartet of fixtures, the most recent of which came last night in Los Blancos’ meeting with Atalanta.
As alluded to above, though, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, then it should not be long before the Real faithful are afforded the chance to see Camavinga back on the pitch once more.
As per a report from **[Marca](https://www.marca.com/futbol/2024/12/11/camavinga-apunta-intercontinental.html)**:
‘His evolution is good and everything indicates a return sooner than expected.’
The initial diagnosis on Camavinga pointed towards a predicted absence spanning around a month.
Developments at Valdebebas, though, have confirmed that the 22-year-old is well ahead of schedule, with it now considered ‘almost certain’ that Camavinga will be available for the Intercontinental Cup final on December 18th.
