The Browns fans’ confidence shot up after a loss to the Broncos, but that was an exciting game to witness, win or lose. This past week’s effort against the Steelers was frustrating and uninspiring. Kicking issues, not executing on offense with prime opportunities, and more secondary issues late. Let’s see how the confidence level drops this week.
We have two other questions we’re asking this week. The first one asks: What should the Browns’ approach be now for these final four games? Should they play the best players to win, or should they play more young players for evaluation? I know there may not be a lot of stuff to go on here, but think of scenarios like: do you continue giving **Jerome Ford** the rock and let **Nick Chubb** heal more with a limited role? Do you continue playing **Ronnie Hickman** at safety? Do you give **Jamari Thrash** a lot more reps? Do you consider putting **Zak Zinter** in for **Joel Bitonio**, purely for evaluation purposes? What about **Dorian Thompson-Robinson**?
Our other asks, “Should the Browns make a temporary change at kicker?” Your options are either “Yes,” which would be to let Hopkins reset as opposed to giving up on him, or “No,” do you continue letting Hopkins work through his issues in real time?
