In the face of a possibly heated game, the injury report for the New York Knicks vs. Hawks on Wednesday triggers questions for the NBA Cup contest.
On Monday evening, a collision between Karl-Anthony Towns and Toronto Raptors Scottie Barnes put the Knicks star on the injury report. Towns missed Saturday's contest vs. the Detroit Pistons, which the Knicks lost. Due to the violent crashing of bodies, Barnes claimed he couldn't feel his foot, and Towns appeared visibly shaken. In light of the scare, Towns is listed as "probable" on the injury report.
Conversely, Atlanta has nine players on its injury report, leaving the Young-led franchise vulnerable to a potential blowout at the hand of its Eastern Conference rival.
