Ferran Torres came off the bench to score a brace and inflict Dortmund’s first home defeat of the season in a thrilling encounter in Germany.

Dortmund levelled twice through Serhou Guirassy but were caught by a superb Barcelona counter with five minutes to go as Lamine Yamal threaded the ball through to Torres, who finished wonderfully.

Both teams came into the game off the back of draws in the league but with four wins out five in the Champions Leauge.

From the outset, Hansi Flick’s Barca were dominant in possession and former Leeds man Raphinha should have finished when Yamal found him with his signature outside of the foot cross but the Barcelona skipper fired wide.

The breakthrough came eight minutes into the second half when a perfectly weighted pass from Dani Olmo found Raphinha, who rifled in a left-footed strike to silence the Yellow Wall and score his 17th goal of the season.

Seven minutes later, the Yellow Wall was in full flow as Dortmund levelled after a stupid push by 17-year-old Pau Cubarsi on Guirassy in the box and Guirassy made no mistake from the spot, before dropping the ‘Chill Guy’ celebration.
