Shedeur Sanders will likely be one of the first quarterbacks taken off the board in the 2025 NFL draft. Sanders has proven that he is an elite talent and can win games, and several NFL teams have shown a huge interest in drafting him. However, the quarterback seems to favor one team above the rest.
Sanders has shown that he favors being drafted by the Las Vegas Raiders in 2025. The young star has posted about the team numerous times on his social media this season, and even his dad, Deion Sanders, is good friends with head coach Antonio Pierce.
ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky called Sanders wanting to join the Raiders, "The worst-kept secret in sports right now," because of all of the attention the Sanders family has brought to the organization.
The Raiders will likely have a top-five draft pick in the upcoming draft, and the quarterback is the position of most need for the team right now. With Gardner Minshew and Aidan O'Connell listed as the top-two quarterbacks on the depth chart currently, Las Vegas has one of the worst quarterback rooms in the league.
Bringing in Sanders would not only solidify the team's quarterback of the future, but it would also bring a new energy to the franchise that has struggled to show a winning mentality in recent history.
