Plenty of men wear cologne, but one NFL quarterback made a stunning and strange confession about what type of fragrance he prefers to use.
Furthermore, it is a quarterback whom many consider to be in the league’s truly elite class of signal-callers and plays on a team that may have some chance of ending the Kansas City Chiefs’ reign as football’s reigning dynasty.
Baltimore Ravens signal-caller Lamar Jackson said he prefers women’s perfume over men’s cologne, and as a result, he has launched his own unisex fragrance, “Night Lights.”

Jackson says the fragrance has a scent that is soft, as opposed to the fragrances that dominate the cologne industry.
It was just a couple of years ago that his stats were down while he was embroiled in a contract dispute with the Ravens, but once he got his big five-year, $260 contract prior to the 2023 season, he took off.
Last season, he won his second regular season MVP award by throwing for 3,678 yards and 24 touchdowns while leading Baltimore to the league’s best record, and through 13 games this year, he has 3,290 passing yards, 29 touchdown passes and just three interceptions.
The arrival of star running back Derrick Henry has taken quite a bit of pressure off of him, and although Baltimore has struggled a bit lately, they have to be considered a team that could do something special come playoff time.
If Jackson leads them to the Super Bowl championship, their fans likely won’t care if he wears actual perfume made for women.
