The Buffalo Bills decided to expand their investor pool on Tuesday, as they added 10 non-controlling minority owners to their ownership group. Two of their new owners have even already solidified themselves as professional sports legends.
NBA Hall of Famers Vice Carter and Tracy McGrady are both officially minority owners of the Bills. Following the announcement by the team, both legends addressed media and fans with statements.
"It's a huge honor to join this historic Bills organization," said Carter. "I'm truly thankful the Pegula family has given me the opportunity to help the franchise continue to grow and thrive in player growth, community service, and of course, winning the Lombardi Trophy. See you soon Bills Mafia!"
"Sports have been a lifelong passion, and the chance to contribute to such a top-tier organization is a true honor," said McGrady. "I'm incredibly proud to be part of this journey."
Majority owner and CEO Terry Pegula had plenty of praise for the new ownership group in a statement.

"This has been an incredible journey to add such an impressive and diverse group of limited partners," Pegula said. "They all have all achieved high levels of success in their respective industries and we're grateful for their interest in our team, our sport, and the future of the Buffalo Bills."
With how successful the Bills have been in recent years, it shouldn't come as a huge surprise that the team is looking to get more executives involved. The new ownership group will now hope to be part of the team when they win their first Super Bowl.
