NFL Reporter Charissa Thompson Used One Word to Describe Ryan Fitzpatrick’s Bust

State Farm released an ad in October that featured former NFL quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick being inducted into the "State Farm Hall of Bundles." This involved the 42-year-old receiving a sculpture of his head.

The twist in the commercial was that it was NFL reporter Charissa Thompson who created the bust, which in truth, barely resembled Fitzpatrick's face. At the end of the ad, Thompson said that she "had to make it accurate."

That same bust recently came to life again as Jake from State Farm brought out the sculpture during Amazon's broadcast of the "Thursday Night Football" rivalry showdown between the Green Bay Packers and the Detroit Lions last Thursday.

Jake from State Farm took to X to share a photo of Fitzpatrick holding the bust as the former asked the fans to rate the likeness of the sculpture. Fitzpatrick himself reacted to the picture, giving it a respectable 7.5 score.

It did not seem like Jake from State Farm was too pleased with the rating, which prompted him to go directly to the source and ask for Thompson's opinion. The 42-year-old sportscaster obliged, and she used just one word to describe her work of art.

"Perfection!!" Thompson wrote.

Thompson has been working with Fitzpatrick since they both signed on for Amazon's "Thursday Night Football" coverage back in 2022. Thompson, who also works for Fox Sports, is the main studio host for "TNF," while Fitzpatrick serves as a pre-game and postgame analyst.

The pair have formed quite a bond during their time together as co-workers, and it appears that their friendship has blossomed to the point where it involves the occasional troll job on social media.
