Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta believes Bukayo Saka is at a world-class level after 3-0 win against Monaco
Mikel Arteta thinks Bukayo Saka’s performances have put him in the league of top players. The Spaniard hailed the 23-year-old's consistency.
Saka has proven to be an important player for Arsenal in recent years as he has mostly shown up whenever his side needed him. When Arteta was asked if Saka is at a world-class level after the match against Monaco, he replied (via the club’s website):
''You have to be able to do that consistently throughout many years to put yourself in that position. What he’s already done at his age, you can already put in brackets because we can compare what he’s done in his first six years of professional football which is exceptional, you know, and that’s it and his aim is to improve. He has the players and environment to continue to do that and I’m sure he will."
Saka has registered nine goals and 12 assists in 21 appearances across competitions this season.
