The Los Angeles Lakers have had a shaky start to the season. After starting off the campaign 10-4, the Lakers dropped seven of their last ten games. They now sit with a 13-11 record and have a contest against the Minnesota Timberwolves next on the schedule on Friday.
The Lakers need to find a way to string along some wins to get some momentum back into the facility. With all the recent losses, trade speculation has begun. The latest rumor has linked the Golden State Warriors having interest in LeBron James, even though Los Angeles has no desire to move on from James.
While there's always news around LeBron, his son Bronny will be going on the road for the first time this season for the G League South Bay Lakers.
Lakers' Bronny James will play his first NBA G League South Bay road game on Thursday vs. Valley Suns, sources tell ESPN. James began the G League season shuttling between the Lakers and South Bay home games, but sides kept door open the opportunity for road contests.

According to ESPN's Shams Charania, Bronny is going on the road for the G League South Bay Lakers on Thursday against the Valley Suns.
The Lakers are changing course on what they said earlier this season. It was first reported that Bronny would only play home games and wouldn't participate in road contests. That didn't seem to be the best approach, as that didn't provide the 20-year-old enough reps to develop his game.
This seems like the right decision for Bronny's career. In three games for South Bay, he averages 8.7 points, three rebounds, 2.7 assists, and one steal per game. He's struggled to be efficient offensively, shooting 29% from the field.
James is coming off his best performance of the season on Saturday against the San Diego Clippers, where he had 16 points, four rebounds, and two assists in 22 minutes of action.
He will get an opportunity to build off that outing and continue to stack up these solid games in the G-League.
