The Kansas City Chiefs will look to improve their win streak to four games when they face the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
The Chiefs won their 12th game of the season on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers. They didn't clinch the win until the game's final seconds, when kicker Matthew Wright nailed a 31-yard game-winning field goal.
Now, just days after he nailed a game-winning kick, he could be losing the starting job. The Chiefs officially opened the 21-day practice window for starting kicker Harrison Butker on Wednesday.
Butker has been on injured reserve since suffering a knee injury in Week 10, causing the Chiefs to bring in multiple kickers to attempt to replace his production.
Kansas City has been able to continue to get production from the kicker position through both Wright and rookie Spencer Shrader, who was also placed on injured reserve.
When speaking to media after the news of Butker's return was announced, coach Andy Reid was cautious about his status.
"We're going to see how he does here," Reid said. "He'll have a few snaps out there."

Butker's return comes at a perfect time for the Chiefs, who are just weeks away from the postseason, where they'll look to become the first team in league history to win three-straight Super Bowls.
Although Kansas City's backups have been very serviceable, the team would likely rather have their starter back soon before one of them makes a mistake in a must-win scenario.
