Green Bay Packers, partners help Wisconsin businesses prepare for visitors during 2025 NFL draft

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The 2025 NFL draft is coming to Green Bay. The Packers and its partners are sharing how businesses and organizations can prepare for out-of-town visitors.

“We want to make sure everyone is thinking of the draft, preparing for it, and thinking of ways to put their best foot forward,” said Aaron Popkey, the director of Public Affairs for the Packers. He hopes businesses will “put out the warmest of welcome mats to have people stop in their towns and experience what they have there to experience.”

The NFL draft will welcome people from around the country and world. Around 240,000 attendees are expected to bring in $20 million in revenue to Green Bay and $94 million to the state of Wisconsin. Officials with the Packers said they’re excited about the area being in the spotlight.

The Packers’ staff, Travel Wisconsin, Discover Green Bay and other partners have a business guide with ideas available online.

The draft will take place next year from April 24-26.
