In transfer news, it has been reported by the Brazilian outlet UOL that the Reds are interested in signing Brighton's 23-year-old forward Joao Pedro. Negotiations could begin for him in early 2025 ahead of a move in the summer, it is claimed.
Pedro has emerged as one of the best young strikers in the Premier League over the last season and a half, and his goal-scoring ability as well as his link-up play is said to appeal to Slot. The report says that Liverpool has been tracking Pedro for five years and is finally ready to step up its interest in the player.
