Nottingham Forest worked tirelessly to improve the squad during the summer transfer window.
Clearly, the business done has worked, with Forest now fifth in the Premier League after 15 games of the campaign played.
The Reds signed Elliot Anderson from Newcastle and Gary Neville has hailed his impact.
Other new arrivals came in to with Alex Moreno and James Ward-Prowse joining as experienced loan options and Morato coming in as a backup defensive option.
Jota Silva bolstered the ranks out wide with Ramon Sosa joining as one player with one eye on the future.
The one signing who has truly caught the eye is Nikola Milenkovic and for £12 million he looks like one of the best pieces of business done since the club returned to the top-flight.

The former striker knows all about turning out in front of a raucous City Ground crowd and these days he’s part of the band Ulterior.
MORE FOREST STORIES
He’s recently sat down with the Forest Focus podcast to discuss all things Forest and after being a guest at the West Ham game, he admitted being impressed with Milenkovic.
He said: “During the time in the Premier League, the team haven’t looked composed defensively.
“The change Milenkovic has brought in – apologies to Forest fans and mentioning the other Reds in Liverpool but being from there and being a fan – I was a guest at the West Ham and it was the first time I’d seen that partnership and I likened it to when Virgi van Dijk and Joel Matip started to click.
“I used to sit watching them with fans of the teams Liverpool were playing and they’d get all excited and I’d just sit there not worried at all because they always used to deal with things in their own penalty area.
“The calmness he’s added has been the final piece of the puzzle for stability.”
Milenkovic is already a cult hero at Forest
The sight of Milenkovic wheeling off in delight after putting Forest ahead at Old Trafford was almost poetic.
United wanted Milenkovic in 2021 but he obviously wasn’t haphazard enough to fit into the basket case that is the Red Devils in the modern era.
Milenkovic is already a firm fan favourite and everything he seemingly does is pretty effortless out on a football pitch.
The man who captains Serbia is surely destined to captain Forest at some point too and he’s quickly becoming a cult hero on Trentside.
