A lot of the usual criticism that has been fired towards the Chelsea ownership seems to have all gone quiet as of late.
Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali have been called out and even laughed at for the way they have operated things, and this has gone hand in hand with some underwhelming finishes in the Premier League right now.
Fast forward to the modern day though and Enzo Maresca has got the Blues into second in the Premier League, as well as top of the group in the Conference League.
The boss has got the best out of a large amount of the first team players, with the likes of Nicolas Jackson and Moises Caicedo performing at the highest levels that they have since joining Chelsea.

Gary Neville says Todd Boehly won’t have expected Chelsea success yet
An attractive run of fixtures on paper gives the Blues a great chance in the coming weeks as establishing themselves as genuine title contenders this season.
Gary Neville has stated that he believes Boehly and co will be thinking things are going better than they could ever have expected right now at Stamford Bridge.
He said: “[Chelsea are] well ahead of schedule from where I thought. The job Enzo Maresca has done is incredible. The Chelsea ownership must be thinking, wow, this is exactly what we wanted when we appointed this guy, they wouldn’t have expected it to be so quick.”
Boehly proven right so far this season
Boehly has made a number of big calls since taking over the reins as owner of the club, however is beginning to reap the rewards of his calls.

It was not the most popular call at the time to sack Mauricio Pochettino, however the Blues are clearly in a far better place right now than they were 12 months ago.
The likes of Cole Palmer have refused to admit that Chelsea are in a title race, however supporters have every right to be excited by the direction they are heading right now.
