With the January transfer window now just around the corner, there’s speculation in the rumour mill regarding the futures of several Chelsea players.
In general, Chelsea appear to be in a great place right now. They’re currently sitting second in the Premier League, plus they’re top of the Conference League group phase.
Enzo Maresca deserves big credit for the way he’s managed the Blues squad so far, which has been by heavily rotating between the league and cup competitions to keep most of the players involved.
Chelsea’s 20-man squad to face Astana in Thursday’s Conference League tie includes a load of academy players, too.

Omari Kellyman willing to leave Chelsea on loan
Omari Kellyman, who joined Chelsea from Aston Villa in the summer in a £19m deal, has had a frustrating first half of the season. Unfortunately, the 19-year-old playmaker has spent the last few months on the sidelines through injury, so he’s still waiting to make his first-team debut for the Blues.
Interestingly, the attacking midfielder is now linked with a potential move away from Stamford Bridge next month.
According to BBC Sport, Chelsea youngster Kellyman is open to leaving on loan in the January transfer window.
It is explained that the teenager’s yet to play any senior minutes since his £19m transfer, with his only action coming for the Under-21s back in August.

The report says that Kellyman is weighing up his loan options, particularly in the Championship, as he closes in on a return from his hamstring problem.
Chelsea youngster Kellyman has been increasing muscle during his rehabilitation process, but he’s still an unknown for Blues supporters because he’s not played for the seniors since joining from Villa.
Should Chelsea loan out Omari Kellyman?
First and foremost, Kellyman must be desperate to get himself fit after a nightmare start to his Chelsea career.
He played six first-team games in Villa colours before his summer transfer, but breaking into the senior Blues squad will be a much harder task. In terms of his favoured No.10 position, he’s somehow got to try get past the likes of Cole Palmer and Joao Felix.
It feels like a short-term loan in the second half of the season is a no-brainer for Kellyman. Hopefully, he can get football under his belt in the next few months before starting fresh in pre-season next summer.
