The West Ham United owners are seemingly getting their ducks in a row ahead of the potential decision to sack Julen Lopetegui.
Julen Lopetegui is walking on very thin ice at the London Stadium right now, with the West Ham owners apparently having run out of patience with the Spaniard.
With West Ham currently languishing down in 14th spot in the Premier League table, Lopetegui apparently could be replaced imminently by Graham Potter if results don’t improve.
The fact that the Spaniard is still in charge at the London Stadium actually blows my mind.
He has clearly proven that he’s incapable of getting a tune out of this team.

The standard of football at West Ham has not improved – if anything we’ve regressed! Meanwhile, the results have been incredibly poor on the whole.
A new manager is required at the London Stadium as far as I’m concerned, and the Hammers board are apparently ready to think outside the box when it comes to replacing Lopetegui.
West Ham want 36-year-old German to replace Julen Lopetegui
The Spaniard is walking on very thin ice now, that much is clear.
MORE WEST HAM STORIES
Monday night’s 2-1 win over Wolves did little to ease the pressure on Lopetegui’s shoulders.
The owners are clearly well aware that the team are not performing anywhere near their best under the former Wolves boss.
And a big change could be afoot at the London Stadium…
According to a report from TEAMtalk, the Hammers board are keen on Al-Ahli boss Matthias Jaissle, after the German’s fine recent run in charge of the Saudi outfit.
He’s an exciting young coach, there’s no doubt about that.
After his days in charge of Red Bull Salzburg, Jaissle likes his teams to play the ‘Red Bull way’.
In Layman’s terms, that means he insists his players implement an intense and aggressive high-press.

Jaissle wants his teams to squeeze the opposition all over the field, in an effort to win the ball back almost immediately after conceding possession.
However, is he the man we should be chasing?
Who is Matthias Jaissle?
The 36-year-old was born in Nurtingen, Germany in 1988.
He played as a centre-back for Hoffenheim before retiring in his mid-20’s.
Jaissle’s coaching career began with Brondby in 2017, before he took over as the Red Bull Salzburg under-18 head coach two years later.
Then, in 2021, he took the step up to the Red Bull Salzburg senior side, and was named as the new head coach.
The 36-year-old won two Austrian league titles in two seasons before moving out to Saudi Arabia to take over at Al-Ahli in the summer of 2023.
He recently set a club record out in Saudi with Al-Ahli.
Jaissle is currently in the midst of a six-match unbeaten streak in the league and AFC Champions League. In addition to that, he equaled a club record for the best winning streak in the AFC Champions League of five games.
The German clearly has something about him, although it must be noted that he is still yet to prove himself at the very highest level of the game.
And I believe it would be a huge risk for West Ham to appoint Matthias Jaissle in place of Julen Lopetegui, at this moment in time anyway.
