Forward Kevin Knox II and guard Yuri Collins posted double-doubles, but the Santa Cruz Warriors lost 120-117 to the host Stockton Kings in NBA G League Showcase Cup action to conclude their four-game road trip on Wednesday night.

Knox had 21 points and a season-high 15 rebounds for the Warriors (6-6), and Collins had 21 points and a game-high 13 assists.
The Warriors, who trailed 65-55 at the half, were outrebounded 52-38 and outscored in the paint 72-48.
Forward Blake Hinson, guard Marcus Burk, and forward Donta Scott each enjoyed personal season highs in scoring. Hinson scored 20 points and had three rebounds and two steals. Burk, making his third start, scored19 points on 7-of-9 shooting, and Scott scored 17 points.
Two-way forward Isaiah Crawford and forward/center Skal Labissiere scored a game-high 23 points apiece for the Kings (8-3). Crawford also contributed six rebounds and five assists, and Labissiere recorded six rebounds and three assists.
Kings guard Dexter Dennis had 19 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists. Forward Terry Taylor also scored 19 points, and recorded seven rebounds and five assists. Forward/center Drew Timme and guard Antoine Davis combined for 24 points off the bench for Stockton.
Santa Cruz hosts the San Diego Clippers (6-5) in a two-game set this weekend at Kaiser Permanente Arena. They'll play Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 5 p.m.

Girls basketball
MVC 37, at Soquel 35: Senior Sophia Cortes hit a 3-pointer with 30 seconds remaining to tie the score and teammate sophomore Emily Madison made two free throws with 2.5 seconds left to help the Mustangs secure the nonleague win Wednesday.
Cortes scored 23 points for the Mustangs (2-5).
Senior center Neely Pfeiffer scored 16 points for the Knights (3-2).
MVC hosts Pacific Collegiate on Friday at 7 p.m. Soquel plays at Stevenson on Dec. 20 at 4 p.m.
Boys basketball
At St. Francis 92, Cindy Avitia 24: The Sharks had three players score 20 or more points in their nonleague blowout Wednesday.
Isaiah Villalobos scored 23 points for St. Francis (5-0). Nash Horton had 21 points, six rebounds, five assist, and four steals, and Jacob Jimenez had 20 points, six rebounds and three assists. Robert Gomez had 13 points, five assists, and two steals.
It's the second time this season that the Sharks have scored 90 or more points. They beat Anzar 92-23 to open their season Nov. 25.
St. Francis outscored the Jaguars of San Jose 38-5 in the second half.
Junior Jansen De Jesus scored 11 points for the Jaguars (0-3), and classmate Athan Magallanes scored 10.
The Sharks host Kirby (0-1) on Thursday at 7 p.m.
MVC 52, King City 44: Nico Downie scored 14 points, and MVC won its Watsonville Tournament game on Wednesday.
Braden Dobler scored 12 points for MVC, which trailed 27-25 at the half. Matteo Vidal scored 11 points.
Antonio Rodriguez and Timothy Lopez each scored 11 points to lead King City.
MVC (3-2) plays Skyline of Oakland in the tournament on Thursday at 5 p.m.
Oakwood 80, at Watsonville 70: Leon Madec scored 24 points but the Wildcatz lost their Watsonville Tournament game Thursday.
Nate Aguilar scored 17 points for the Wildcatz (2-2), and Max Aceves added 12 points.
Watsonville hosts Foothill (4-2) of Palo Cedro in tournament action on Friday at 8 p.m.
Marina 69, Pajaro Valley 32: Senior Carlos Escobar scored 11 points in the Grizzlies' loss in the Watsonville Tournament on Wednesday.
Alex Acosta scored eight points for the Grizzlies (1-4), and Anthony Aguirre chipped in with seven points.
Boys soccer
At Aptos 2, North Salinas 1: Julian Torres and Josiah Siqueiros scored goals for the Mariners in their nonleague win Wednesday.
Torres scored the opening goal on a cross from Alex Casillas in the eighth minute. Siqueiros made it 2-0 when he finished off a cross by Fabian Hernandez in the 19th minute.
North Salinas scored midway through the second half.
Roberto Zuniga praised the efforts of senior captain Nami Banks for his tenacity on the pitch and continuous support for his teammates.
"Our defense continues to be work together to hold the opposition to limited goals," Zuniga said. "And our offense is working to be more effective on our finishing."
Aptos (4-1-0) hosts Watsonville (0-1-2) on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
At Scotts Valley 2, Silver Creek 2: The Falcons played to a tie in their nonleague match Wednesday.
Junior Matthew Orozco Alcaraz and freshman Aiden Barragan scored for the Raiders (1-3-1).
Scotts Valley (0-1-2) plays at Valley Christian (2-2-1) in San Jose on Friday at 6 p.m.
Monterey 3, at Soquel 1: The host Knights suffered the nonleague loss to the unbeaten Toreadores on Wednesday.
Ethan Bonilla scored twice for the Toreadores (5-0-1). Enrique Villalobos also scored.
Soquel (1-1-1) plays at Pioneer (1-2-0) in San Jose on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
At Monterey Bay Academy 8, St. Francis 0: The short-handed Sharks were without the services of Oscar Vargas, Aiden Berrelleza, Vince Tovar, Roger de la Torre and Aiden Tran in their nonleague loss Wednesday.
St. Francis (0-2-0) hosts Ceiba (0-2-0) on Saturday at 9 a.m.
