They advanced into the fourth round of the competition with a brilliant 2-0 win at South Liverpool, the game pushed back a few days due to Storm Darragh at the weekend.
Nathan Cartman was the experienced striker needed for the occasion and he scored just before half-time to put Albion in front, before adding a crucial second goal with 15 minutes left.
The Bradford side started brightly, with Fernando Moke’s strike deflected just off-target.
But they were indebted to a sensational save from Jordan Porter a few minutes later to keep them level.
Albion skipper Aran Basi had a half-chance with a header, before Cartman gave the visitors the lead.
He latched on to a long ball over the top, shrugged off his marker brilliantly inside the box, then crashed his shot into the net.
Cartman was brought down in a dangerous position seconds before the break, with the subsequent free kick well saved.
South Liverpool hit back in the first 15 minutes after the interval, but staunch defending restricted them to half chances.
As the half wore on, both sides began to play some good football, and with the game on the knife edge, it was Albion who grabbed the crucial second goal.
A rogue backpass from the hosts was pounced upon by Cartman, who kept his cool and swept the ball past the keeper with his left foot.
South Liverpool threw everything they had at Albion to try and set up a grandstand finish but the Bradford side kept them out to seal their progress.

They will host either Crook Town or Carlisle City in the fourth round.
Silsden’s third round tie at West Didsbury & Chorlton was also hit by Storm Darragh, and like the Crook and Carlisle game, that has been rearranged for this Saturday.
But the Cobbydalers were in action in midweek themselves, hosting Tadcaster Albion in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division.
Silsden stretched their lead at the summit to three points, but their 14-game winning run in all competitions ended as they could only draw 2-2.
Campion did win in the NCEL Premier Division in midweek, coming from behind at Scotchman Road last night to beat Rossington Main 3-1.
Ewan Gregson, on dual-registration from Bradford (Park Avenue), equalised five minutes into the second half, before a Rossington red card tipped the balance in the Red and Blacks’ favour.
Substitute Covenant Ofoegbu was the hero, his two late goals sealing victory.
Guiseley sit second in the Northern Premier League Premier Division, but they were disappointing on Tuesday night, only drawing 1-1 at home to lowly Leek Town.

Finally, Farsley Celtic’s rearranged FA Trophy third round tie at Gateshead was abandoned in the first half, following an on-field cardiac arrest for the away side’s captain Lewis Turner.
He is now recovering in hospital, with the T&A bringing you the full story on that here.
