Callum Wilson has vowed to “rediscover” the “best version of himself” following his latest Newcastle United setback.
Toon fans were in disbelief when news emerged about the 32-year-old breaking down with a fresh hamstring problem. This is the 15th injury Wilson has picked up since moving from Bournemouth four years ago.

The Toon No.9 released a powerful statement opening up about his fitness struggles. Posting on social media, Wilson described his journey as an “emotional rollercoaster” - with hundreds of fans offering their support.

Appreciate the patience, love and support from all those closest that know how hard I really work and how professional I always am.”
