Report: The huge eight-figure fee Man United are set to demand for Marcus Rashford if they sell him in 2025

Marcus Rashford’s future at Manchester United has been a hot topic of discussion recently.

The Englishman has been a Red all his life. He joined the United academy when he was just seven years old and worked his way up into the first team.

Rashford has played 425 games for Manchester United in all competitions. He has scored 138 goals, provided 68 assists and has helped them win six trophies, including a Europa League title.

There has been a lot of speculation surrounding Rashford’s future at Old Trafford. There’s an update on that situation now.

How much Manchester United want for Marcus Rashford if they sell him?

Rashford has had a very difficult time at Manchester United since the start of the 2023/24 season.

The 27-year-old was amazing in Erik ten Hag’s first year at the club. He directly contributed to 40 goals that campaign, but he has struggled since.

Rashford scored just eight goals in the whole of last season and has managed seven so far. He hasn’t been anywhere near his best, and that has led to some talk about his future.

TBR Football revealed recently that no decision has been made by Manchester United about Rashford and his place at the club. The player’s camp has not asked to leave either despite interest from PSG.

CaughtOffside now claim that along with the French champions, Barcelona and Bayern Munich are also interested in signing Rashford.

Manchester United, if they decide to let him go, will not do so for a small fee. The report claims that the Red Devils could demand a fee in the region of €70-75 million (£57.6-61.7m).

Rashford signed a new contract in the summer of 2023. That deal does not expire until 2028.

Manchester United have five forwards on their transfer shortlist

On paper, Manchester United have a very good attack, but their forwards have struggled to produce the goods on a consistent basis.

Ruben Amorim has to try and get the best out of what he has at his disposal, but he will surely want to use the help of the transfer market too.

In the same report, CaughtOffside claim that Manchester United have a five-man shortlist as they look to strengthen their attack in 2025.

The names on their list are Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic and Kenan Yildiz, Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyokeres, Victor Osimhen of Napoli but currently on loan at Galatasaray, and Brighton’s Evan Ferguson.

Four of the five names on the list are likely to cost big money, but the report claims that Ferguson is a lower-cost option. He is highly regarded at Old Trafford despite his recent struggles.
