Bournemouth are a team revolutionised under Spanish manager Andoni Iraola and currently sit at the cusp of European football football next season.
Naturally, this resulted in their starting players being targeted by the teams higher up in the pecking order, but the Cherries are in a strong position to demand high prices.
Liverpool must fork out atleast £40 million to land Premier League star Milos Kerkez..
Andy Robertson is not getting any younger.
One of their players is on the radar of Liverpool as a long-term solution for a troubled position, and the Reds now know what it will cost to begin negotiations.
Asking price revealed for Liverpool-linked Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez
As reported by Football Insider, Bournemouth want at least £40 million for their Hungarian left-back Milos Kerkez.
Having arrived at the Vitality Stadium as a teenager last year, the young wide defender has quickly developed into a highly regarded operator in the Premier League as a starter for a Bournemouth team who, under Andoni Iraola, continue punching above their weight, currently lying just three points off top four in the league table.
Liverpool are just one of a handful of sides looking into the Hungary international. Man United and Real Madrid have also been linked with the player that has made 15 appearances this season across all competitions.
Kerkez has at Bournemouth a £30k-per-week set to run until June 2028.
One for the long-term
The three clubs mentioned here are in need of long-term left-back reinforcement, especially Man United and Liverpool. Given the way the Cherries are going, Kerkez’s price is likely to only go further up.
Liverpool may want to consider making a move for the 21-year-old in January, not only to secure their own position but also make sure United do not secure theirs.
