NFL Week 15: Hart’s Picks

For my Week 14 slate of picks, I picked 10 of 13 games correctly. Not as good as I was hoping for, but still a solid outing.

Through 14 weeks, I’m at 142-67. That brings me to 68-percent accuracy for the season. There are no more BYE weeks the rest of the season, which means sixteen games the next few weeks until the end of the year.

Let's see how I do in Week 15. Without further ado, here are this week’s picks.

Thursday Night Football —Los Angeles Rams atSan Francisco 49ers

The Rams pulled off an upset over the Buffalo Bills last weekend which was one of the games I got wrong. This week they head on the road to take on a 49ers squad coming off a win as well but dealing with even more injuries. This is a pivotal matchup for both teams. The Rams can keep pace with the Seahawks in the NFC West with a win but could fall two games behind with a loss. The 49ers would have their playoff hopes vanquished if they can’t win.

Winner: Rams

Sunday Football (Early Game) –Miami Dolphins atHouston Texans

This AFC matchup has playoff implications too. The Dolphins can’t afford a loss, and the Texans can come close to clinching the AFC South with a victory. I think the Texans are a better team, but they need to improve on both sides of the ball to be competitive in the playoffs. Nevertheless, I’ll take them at home.

Winner: Texans

Sunday Football (Early Game) –Dallas Cowboys atCarolina Panthers

Bryce Young has improved a lot since being benched earlier in the year and they’ve fought hard the past few games. Alas, they are losers of three in a row. The Cowboys are a team that’s still struggling and have been devastated by injuries. Even so, I still like their chances on the road over the Panthers. They just have more playmakers on offense even with Cooper Rush leading the way at quarterback.

Winner: Cowboys

Sunday Football (Early Game) –New York Jets atJacksonville Jaguars

Neither the Jets nor the Jaguars have a shot at the playoffs, so this game doesn’t have any postseason implications. It’s just one of the more boring matchups this weekend. That being said, I’ll pick the Jets even though they have been a major disappointment this season.

Winner: Jets

Sunday Football (Early Game) –Cincinnati Bengals atTennessee Titans

Ja’Marr Chase continues to put up stellar statistics week in and week out, but it would take a miracle for the Bengals to somehow make the postseason. They need to win out and have a few other playoff chase teams lose over the next few weeks. Luckily for them, their Week 15 matchup is against the Titans who are one of the worst teams in the National Football League. This should be an easy win for the Bengals.

Winner: Bengals

Sunday Football (Early Game) –Baltimore Ravens atNew York Giants

The Ravens are 8-5 and in the middle of the pack in the AFC Playoff race. I don’t know if they can catch the Pittsburgh Steelers and win the division, but taking care of business against the Giants is a must if they hope to do so. Baltimore shouldn’t have a problem handling the Giants who are in the hunt for the top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Winner: Ravens

Sunday Football (Early Game) –Kansas City Chiefs atCleveland Browns

A last second field goal that hit the uprights and doinked in elevated the Chiefs to a victory over the Los Angeles Chargers last weekend. They’ve certainly had a lot of luck this season but wound up securing the AFC West title for the ninth year in a row. I’m not banking on Jameis Winston playing well enough for the Browns to pull the upset here.

Winner: Chiefs

Sunday Football (Early Game) –Washington Commanders atNew Orleans Saints

The Commanders have a one game lead in the NFC for the final playoff spot with an 8-5 record. This is a must-win game to help pave the way toward a playoff berth. I don’t think Jayden Daniels and company will have much trouble on the road.

Winner: Commanders

Sunday Football (Afternoon Game) –Philadelphia Eagles at Pittsburgh Steelers

This is one of the premier matchups this weekend—The Battle of Pennsylvania. Both these teams are in firm control in their divisions and look to be formidable playoff opponents. Their defenses are playing at a high level, but whose offense rises to the occasion and guts out more points. I’m betting on the Eagles to fly high in this one.

Winner: Eagles

Sunday Football (Afternoon Game) –Indianapolis Colts atDenver Broncos

This is a must-win game for the Broncos due to the playoff implications and tie-breaking procedures. I think they are a much better team than the Colts, but they need to perform a lot better than they did against the Browns two weeks ago—especially on the defensive side of the ball. I think they pull this one off and register their first winning season since 2016.

Winner: Broncos

Sunday Football (Afternoon Game) –Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Los Angeles Chargers

The Buccaneers are now the leaders of the NFC South at 7-6 after reeling off three wins in a row. The Chargers are at 8-5 and still have a great chance at making the postseason. Both teams really need a win, but I think Los Angeles’ defense puts them over the top and limits the impact Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers’ offense.

Winner: Chargers

Sunday Football (Afternoon Game) – Buffalo Bills atDetroit Lions

This is a great matchup I’ve been looking forward to all season. Josh Allen and the Bills are hoping to rebound after a tough loss to the Rams. Whilst the Lions will want a win as they inch closer to the top seed and a first-round bye. This has all the makings of a shootout and one I have the Lions winning.

Winner: Lions

Sunday Football (Afternoon Game) —New England Patriots atArizona Cardinals

The Patriots don’t have any postseason hopes, whereas the Cardinals still do. This is a game Arizona has to win, or their playoff aspirations could come to a screeching halt. With that in mind, I’m taking the Cardinals because this game actually means something to them.

Winner: Cardinals

Sunday Night Football –Green Bay Packers at Seattle Seahawks

This Sunday Night Football matchup should be a really good battle. Both of these teams are poised to make the playoffs. This game might mean more to the Seahawks toward clinching the NFC West, but the Packers definitely don’t want to register a fifth loss. Whatever team runs the ball more effectively in this one should come out victorious. With Kenneth Walker II potentially being sidelined, I’ll take Josh Jacobs and the Packers in this one.

Winner: Packers

Monday Night Football (Game 1)–Chicago Bears atMinnesota Vikings

The Bears started off the season strong but have really fizzled out over the past few months. On the other hand, the Vikings have looked really good, and Sam Darnold is having an incredible season at quarterback. NFC North division rivalry games usually end up being closer than you’d think, but I’ll take the Vikings at home.

Winner: Vikings

Monday Night Football (Game 2)–Atlanta Falcons atLas Vegas Raiders

The Falcons had a firm grip of the NFC South a few weeks ago, but they’ve lost four straight and are now one game behind Tampa Bay in the standings. This is a must-win game for them and it’s against a Raiders team that has lost nine games in a row. I’m taking the Falcons on the road to keep their postseason hopes alive.

Winner: Falcons
