Not every game demands the same kind of approach from FC Barcelona and it shows. Against teams that defend in a low-block, La Blaugrana will understandably needed a different approach compared to when playing teams that like a high-line. Fortunately for Barcelona, Hansi Flick understands this well.
As a result of that understanding, the German coach has had to make some changes in between games as well. This includes having to take off stars like Robert Lewandowski as well if the match in question requires a player who can do some extra running for the team.
For instance, in the last game against Borussia Dortmund, it was Ferran Torres who replaced the Polish striker. Eventually, that substitution ended up paying off and the Spaniard emerged as the game-changer for Barcelona by scoring a brace that secured all three points for the team.
Moreover, it also solidified an individual milestone for the 24-year-old forward as well. As highlighted by Mundo Deportivo, this recent brace against Dortmund in the Champions League now makes it four goals in three games for Ferran Torres, a streak that he has never had at the club before.
By managing to score against the likes of RCD Mallorca, Real Betis, and most recently Borussia Dortmund in consecutive games, Torres has managed to score in three back-to-back games. This highlights the kind of resurgence that he is enjoying this season under Hansi Flick, and his numbers speak for themselves.
Despite suffering an injury earlier this season, the Spaniard has now left those woes behind him. Instead, he is more focused on making the most out of the minutes that Flick gives to him, and while they may be limited compared to other forwards in the team, Torres has not given many reasons to doubt his end product.

With a La Liga clash against Leganes coming up ahead, perhaps Hansi Flick ends up trusting him again. This time, however, the German coach could even consider some rotations and possibly let the Spaniard get another start under his belt. If he does that, Ferran Torres could have a golden opportunity to continue this scoring streak of his.
