Partey has featured in midfield and right-back this term, and manager Mikel Arteta has been able to rely on him so far amid the spate of injuries in his squad.
The versatile Arsenal star joined them for £45 million from Atletico Madrid in 2020, playing 33 games at the end of his debut campaign.
While his future is uncertain and he can sign a pre-contract with overseas clubs from January 1, both parties could strike a new deal in the coming weeks.
Partey has proven he has what it takes to remain a key and important player for Arsenal, and handing him a new two-year deal could make sense.
He earns £200,000 per week and could be keen on an improved deal after seeing the likes of Gabriel Jesus earn much more.
Jorginho’s deal is also due to expire in July, and the Gunners may not be ready to lose two of their most experienced midfielders anytime soon.
