Sean Dyche holds his latest Everton press conference today
Everton resume their Premier League season on Saturday when they travel to Arsenal. And ahead of the trip to the Emirates Stadium, Blues boss Sean Dyche will be holding his latest press conference today.
Getting under way at 1.45pm, Dyche will no doubt be asked about any developments in The Friedkin Group's takeover of the club from Farhad Moshiri. Reports suggest the deal is close to completion.
On the field, the Everton manager will be quizzed on the club's injury situation, which will hopefully have improved after an unexpected 10-day break from action.
The Blues, of course, were supposed to host Liverpool last Saturday in the final Merseyside league derby at Goodison Park. However, the match was postponed because of Storm Darragh.
But while the showdown with the leaders will be played later in the season, Dyche's side are still facing a tricky run up of games up until the end of the year given they follow up the clash with third-placed Arsenal with matches against second-placed Chelsea, fourth-placed Manchester City and fifth-placed Nottingham Forest.
But Everton will go into that run of fixtures with confidence high after a 4-0 win at home to Wolves last night.
Chris Beesley will be at Finch Farm to bring you all the updates from the press conference.
