Borussia Dortmumd boss Nuri Sahin expects Barcelona to “go far” in the Champions League after seeing [his team beaten 3-2 by the Catalans on Wednesday](https://www.barcablaugranes.com/2024/12/11/24316999/borussia-dortmund-barcelona-champions-league-final-score-match-report-recap-reactions).
The loss was Dortmund’s first at home this season and first in front of their own fans in the Champions League since November 2021.
Sahin praised Barcelona afterwards and thinks Hansi Flick has a great team.

Sahin also spoke about his frustration at the result and says being told his team played well against Barcelona was no consolation for the result.

Wednesday’s result leaves Barcelona in second place in the standings, while Dortmund drop down to ninth.
