Nottingham Forest have made a good start to the 2024/25 campaign and are sitting pretty in the top half of the table.
The Reds – led by Nuno Espirito Santo are currently in fifth place heading into Saturday’s game at home to Aston Villa.
Forest are dreaming of achieving something special this season, although there is some work to do as the season approaches the halfway point.
With 25 points from 15 games, it’s fair to say that the Reds are overachieving and hopefully, the good form can continue for a little while longer.

During today’s press conference ahead of the Aston Villa game, Espirito Santo was told about some stats that have emerged about injuries.

Forest sit 19th in the Premier League when it comes to days lost through injury, the second best out of every single Premier League outfit.
Espirito Santo is shellshocked and can’t believe it’s an accurate stat.
He said during the press conference: “You’re joking, right? One game in we lost a player, two games later we lost another player, three games after that we lost Sangare. I didn’t know that statistic but no we need all of the players, we need all of the options over the course of a season.”
Forest injury situation ahead of Aston Villa clash
Espirito Santo was coy about his team selection ahead of this one.
Naturally, Alex Moreno isn’t available as he’s on loan from Aston Villa and will be ineligible to face his parent club.
There might be a few nursing hangovers in terms of their fitness following the Old Trafford win and Espirito Santo says he is assessing all of his players.
Whoever gets the nod will be giving their all to get another three points for Forest and Espirito Santo will hope to get the players who are injured back very soon.
