Barcelona youngster Marc Casadó has this week moved to reiterate his appreciation for the faith placed in his talents by head coach Hansi Flick.
Casadó is for his part of course in the midst of a breakout campaign, having establised himself as one of the first names on the team sheet of new Barcelona boss Flick.
This comes with the 21-year-old having taken full advantage of an early-season injury crisis in the Blaugrana’s engine room, to showcase his impressive abilities on both sides of the ball.
All told, Casadó has racked up 20 appearances across all competitions, chipping in with five assists along the way.
His most recent outing came on Wednesday night, when the now-Spanish international was utilised from the off in Barca’s 3-2 Champions League downing of Borussia Dortmund.
Drawn on his ongoing explosion onto the world stage of football post-match, Casadó, in turn, made use of the opportunity to send a message of gratitude to his manager:
“I owe everything to Hansi Flick. It’s not easy to put a player who played in the 3rd division last season into matches like these.”
