Everton have been able to put their feet up for an extra few days having not had a game over the weekend.
Frustratingly, Everton were going into their game against Liverpool on the back of an emphatic victory over Wolves.
However, any momentum was pulled from under their feet with Storm Darragh postponing the Merseyside Derby.
The two sides will now find themselves awaiting a new date for the game to be played with three potential dates tipped for the Merseyside Derby to be replayed.
Having now had time to reflect on the weekend, Sean Dyche has shared what the two clubs actually thought about the postponement.

What Everton and Liverpool thought about the Merseyside Derby postponement
It was not all bad news coming out of the postponement with Everton donating produce to local food banks which was due to be sold on the day.
Speaking on Thursday during his press conference, Dyche admitted all parties wanted to play the game but they had to give way to health and safety.
“Game-wise, obviously we wanted to play the game, but safety had to play its part. I was here in the morning and the window was horrendous, to be honest,” said Dyche.

“Yeah, they had to call it so that was a blow for everyone as everyone was gearing up for it.”
“It was a blow, for sure. I think all parties wanted it to be played, but, like I said, safety had to come first and I understand why.”
With the rescheduled date expected to come in a few months time, there could be some serious changes before these sides actually play.
The Friedkin Group are expected to sack Sean Dyche, with their takeover nearing its completion on Merseyside.
Sean Dyche shares Everton boost from postponement
On Tuesday, there were five Everton players involved in a friendly behind the scenes with League One side Mansfield Town.
The players in question were:
Nathan Patterson
Seamus Coleman
Jake O’Brien
Armando Broka
Youssef Chermiti
And Dyche has admitted it was good to see some players get minutes following their returns from their respective injuries.
“We had a few playing a game the other day. Five with Seamus [Coleman] playing some minutes, Broja and Youssef going well,” said Dyche.
“Patto and Jake played, as well. There were a number of bodies out there, so that was good.”
They are not the only players making their comebacks with the out-of-contract Dele Alli sharing training footage after his recent setback.
