The FC Bayern Frauen return to UEFA Women’s Champions League action as the busy schedule to round up calendar year 2024 draws to a close.
Bayern Munich takes on Juventus at home today, followed by a Frauen-Bundesliga match against Potsdam on Sunday and an away trip to face Arsenal FC next Wednesday.
Unlike last year, the Bavarians sit in a strong position in UWCL Group C and have already qualified from the group. They currently lead Arsenal by one point, meaning top spot could be up for grabs next week — especially if Bayern slip now.
“The context of the game is good for us,” said coach Alexander Straus (via the team’s X channel). But that does not mean the Bavarians are looking to let up at all; Giulia Gwinn has called for a convincing performance to continue the good run at the moment.

Here at BFW we celebrate every goal like they do in the stadium: with a chant. The goal chants are for everyone to participate in! Even if you’re lagging behind the others, keep replying to the most recent call of the player’s name. Even if you missed the first call, just start from the second, and so on.
