Farhad Moshiri will walk away from Everton almost empty-handed before Christmas, according to talkSPORT.
The radio station reported via their website on 11 December that Dan Friedkin is clearing up around £600million worth of debt to complete The Friedkin Group’s takeover at Goodison Park.
It is understood that TFG are set to purchase Moshiri’s 94.1 per cent shareholding of the Blues within the next two weeks with the Premier League on the verge of granting approval for the deal.
When will the Everton takeover be completed?
As long as all goes well, Evertonians will be treated to an early Christmas present with Moshiri clearing out his office at Goodison and leaving the club forever.
Even though he’s spent a lot of money in his time on Merseyside and helped bankroll the build of the incredible new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock, he’s failed to get the Blues to be anywhere near as good as they were before he arrived.

MORE TOFFEES STORIES
Everton, on the pitch, have gone backwards and they’re only really a Premier League club right now because of how badly some of the other teams in the top-flight have done in recent years.
If it wasn’t for a handful of good performances by a handful of good players – coupled with the pragmatic brilliance of Sean Dyche – the Toffees could be bidding farewell to Goodison Park against a team like Plymouth and opening their new ground to a team like Wrexham.
Moshiri’s time has been up for a long time. Good riddance.
In other Everton news, an update on Bill Kenwright’s estate has emerged amid worries it’ll delay the deal between Moshiri and Friedkin.
