Tottenham Hotspur have been looking to bring in a new midfielder in the upcoming summer transfer window as the North Londoners look to fill the depth in the middle of the park in Ange Postecoglou’s roster, and the Lilywhites have been fortifying interests in a probable move for Juventus midfielder Nicolò Fagioli.
The 23-year-old Italian midfielder has been one of the players that Tottenham have expressed interest in ahead of January. As reported by Mirko Di Natale via X.

Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou can have Fagioli in January.
Former Lilywhites scout Bryan King likes the sound of getting Fagioli to White Hart Lane and thinks that Spurs would be ‘wise’ to offer the player an exit route from Italian football to the English top tier. And King, in an exclusive interview with Tottenham News, is suggesting that the 23-year-old’s possible transfer to White Hart Lane could bear similarities to previous moves for Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur.
He said:
“I do question why Fagioli has struggled at Juventus. He is playing for a great club. Perhaps he needs a new challenge, something to help him get his career back on track. Therefore, if that is the case, this could be a wise move for both him and Tottenham.
“We saw Kulusevski and Bentancur revitalised after they moved to the Premier League. If Spurs decide to move for this player, who is full of potential, which he has demonstrated, it could give them another option.”
Tuttosport recently talked up the possibility of Tottenham signing the 23-year-old midfielder, insisting Juve’s asking price of €25m (£20.7m for the midfielder).
And for Tottenham, this is an opportunity to bring in some fresh legs in the midfield as the North Londoners are light in the position, and bringing in another Fagioli should help the club in their pursuit of Champions League qualification.
