Nottingham Forest are going great guns in the Premier League at the moment with 2024/25 now in full swing.
As the season approaches the midway point the Reds sit fifth in the division and Nuno Espirito Santo looks to be playing all the right notes.
Forest are going to face setbacks as the season progresses but under the current head coach, there is a sense that things are heading in the right direction.
There have been a number of top performers this season, with Elliot Anderson praised by Gary Neville after arriving from Newcastle.
Elsewhere the rearguard has been praised with Robbie Earle stating that he’s a big fan of Nikola Milenkovic this season.
There have been off-field factors that have helped Forest and there is one thing that has changed significantly since the days of Steve Cooper.

MORE FOREST STORIES
The Reds have worked tirelessly to get the right medical people in at the club since Cooper departed and – whisper it quietly – injuries have settled down at Forest.
During Cooper’s first season in the Premier League, only Chelsea had more injuries than Forest across the campaign but now things have changed.
The list shows Forest in 19th place with only West Ham losing their players for fewer days than the Reds have this season.
Forest have worked hard to get the right players in
During the maiden campaign back in the top flight, the recruitment was less meticulous and far more scattergun, with 30 players signing across two transfer windows.
Changes have been made behind the scenes, with Espirito Santo bringing in his own medical people who he has worked with across his career.
Clearly, that has been a positive change and Forest have had the second fewest number of injuries in the Premier League this season.
Forest have lost just six players through injury this season, with Brighton sitting top of the pile with no fewer than 17!
It’s great to see that changes have been made to end such an alarming run of players getting injured and if Forest are to remain in a lofty league position, it’s vital this aspect remains over the course of the season.
