Chelsea secured a 3-1 victory against FC Astana away from home to take their tally in the UEFA Conference League to five wins on the bounce. The London club sits atop the table in the competition with an impressive +17 in the goal difference tally.
The Blues scored through Marc Giui in the 14th minute and doubled their lead five minutes later through the Spaniard, making it 2-0 before the 20th minute. Portuguese defender Renato Veiga scored the Blues' third in the 40th minute before the team from Kazakhstan wrapped up the half through Tomasov in the 45th minute.
