All the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding Chelsea as they prepare for a Premier League clash with Brentford.

Chelsea are now preparing for a London derby with Brentford after Thursday night’s Conference League date with Astana. The Blues have been flying of late, and they are now in with at least an outside chance of a title shot, four points behind leaders Liverpool but having played a game more.

Consistency will be key for Enzo Maresca’s men, and Brentford will be a big test given their fine start to the season. In the meantime, we have rounded up all the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding Stamford Bridge.

Kellyman loan on the cards

Chelsea youngster Omari Kellyman is said to be pushing for a move away in the January transfer window in a bid to land more regular football. According to BBC Sport, Kellyman is requesting a loan move as he looks to get back into a rhythm having struggled with injuries so far this season.

The £19million summer arrival has been out with a hamstring injury for much of the season, and he has now likely missed his chance to stake a genuine claim for the starting XI, given he will need to rebuild match fitness and regain form. A loan move may be his best route to getting into Maresca’s good books.

Badiashile decision

Chelsea have been tipped to sell centre-back Benoit Badiashile despite him arriving on a £32million deal only last year. But according to RMC Sport, the Blues have zero interest in losing the defender, refusing any and all enquiries for him.

It’s claimed Juventus and a Ligue 1 club have expressed an interest, but it’s claimed Chelsea have made it clear they are not interested in a sale. Asked about Badiashile not being a regular so far this season, Maresca has said: “They train very good, but unfortunately I can’t give them a chance. Benoit’s working very well, but is not getting minutes in the Premier League. It’s not because he’s doing bad. Sometimes you have to take some decisions. Misha, Benoit, like all the players who aren’t getting many chances, tomorrow is a good chance to get some minutes.”
