Tottenham’s game against Southampton will kick off at 7pm on Sunday night.

Ange Postecoglou’s side come off the back of a disappointing 4-3 defeat to Chelsea in the league which has left them 11th in the table. Postecoglou is now under more pressure after a spell of inconsistency for Spurs.

They had a 2-0 lead against the Blues last weekend but ended up conceding four and struggling, especially in the second half of the game.

Spurs make the trip to Southampton on Sunday, but it has been moved from 12.30pm on Saturday to 7pm on Sunday night due to rules regarding the broadcaster for the match.

TNT Sports always gets the rights to show Saturday’s 12.30 pm kick-off, and they picked Spurs’ trip to play the Saints as their match this week. However, due to Spurs’ game against Rangers on Thursday night, the Southampton trip has been moved. TNT Sports had already agreed that games involving any team playing away from home in a European competition can’t feature in the 12.30 pm kick-off on Saturday, in order to give them more chance to rest.

As Sky Sports have the rights to the Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon kick-offs, TNT Sports have decided to move the game to Sunday evening to avoid any clash in fixtures.

Tottenham’s next five fixtures

Postecoglou will be keen to improve results after getting just one win in their last seven matches, which has led to growing frustration amongst the fan-base.

After making the trip to Southampton, Spurs then feature in the EFL Cup quarter-final against Manchester United next Thursday, as they aim to capture their first trophy since 2008 when they won the competition.

They then face a tough home game against league leaders Liverpool, who have only lost one match in all competitions this season. Following that, they make a Boxing Day trip to Nottingham Forest, who currently sit five points above Postecoglou’s side.

Spurs then host a struggling Wolves side in their last game before the new year, before playing against a tricky Newcastle side on January the 4th.
