All the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding the Premier League.

Another big weekend of Premier League action is just around the corner, with a number of teams having been in European action this weekend. Arsenal and Fulham kick off the weekend’s action, taking on Everton and Liverpool respectively.

Elsewhere, Crystal Palace face rivals Brighton on Sunday, while Spurs take on Southampton away, Chelsea host Brentford and West Ham go to Bournemouth on Monday night. In the meantime, we have rounded up all the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding the top flight.

Cherki links

Crystal Palace are said to be interested in three Lyon players ahead of January, with Ernest Nuamah, Sael Kumbedi and Rayan Cherki all reportedly on the list of transfer candidates.

According to The Sun, Lyon want as much as £30million for Cherki, and that’s despite the fact they are said to have agreed a £12million deal with Fulham in the summer, a deal that fell through. “[By failing to sell Cherki in the summer] we lost 15 million euros,” Palace and Lyon owner John Textor told L’Equipe. “But he has a greater market value [after extending his contract]. He should stay in January but it will come down to his choice, as always in football.”

Cornet suitors

West Ham’s Maxwel Cornet appears to be attracting attention ahead of the January window, likely to depart amid little game time at loan club Southampton. According to 225 Foot via SportWitness, Cornet is likely to return to the Hammers only to find a new club, likely on loan.

Blackburn Rovers and Watford have been mooted as the possible destinations for the 28-year-old who has made just two league appearances for the Saints.

Tonali latest

Newcastle United Sandro Tonali has been linked with a surprise return to Italy, but it seems as though reports are wide of the mark. The midfielder’s agent, Giuseppe Riso, has said: “Sandro is absolutely not considering to return in Serie A.

“He is happy at Newcastle United. Happy to play in the best league in the world and he is an idol for Newcastle United fans, who have always supported Sandro in every moment”.
