Fulham could be without up to three players for their game against Liverpool on Saturday

Marco Silva’s side have won one of their last three games, but are unbeaten in those three with draws to Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur. Their last win came against Brighton, with a 3-1 victory at Craven Cottage last week.

They play a Liverpool side who have lost just one match so far this season, which came against Nottingham Forest in mid-September. Fulham will hope to pull off a similar shock result.

However, the Cottagers could be without up to three players on Saturday due to injury concerns, whereas Liverpool could be missing up to five names.

Fulham injury news

Firstly, winger Reiss Nelson has been ruled out of the game on Saturday due to a hamstring injury suffered against Brighton last week. It forced him to miss the game against his former team in Arsenal at the weekend.

Marco Silva said after the Brighton match: “The first feedback I got from the medical staff is that it's going to be a hamstring injury. He's going to be out for this game for sure and probably the next game. Let's see how many more.”

Furthermore, midfielder Harrison Reed remains out of action as he is dealing with a knee injury that he suffered in mid-November. It forced him to undergo surgery at the time. Silva said “he should be out for 5-6 weeks.” Reed likely won’t return until the new year.

Finally, Joachim Anderson is a doubt for the game on Saturday after he suffered a calf strain against Wolves in late November.

Liverpool injury news

Meanwhile, Liverpool have more injury concerns with up to five players potentially out for the game against Fulham at the weekend.

Ibrahima Konate will be a big loss for Arne Slot’s side, as he is dealing with a knee injury which is expected to keep him on the sidelines until close to Christmas. Conor Bradley is also on a similar timeline but with a hamstring injury.

Slot said: “They will both be out for a few weeks. I have said many times before it's always difficult to judge how many exactly because you can think in the beginning it'll be like this, and then the end stage of an injury process can always differ a bit.”

Furthermore, full-back Kostas Tsimikas will also miss the Fulham match as he is recovering from an ankle injury. Andy Robertson will likely start at left-back in his place.

Attacker Diogo Jota is a doubt for the game but he is still hoping to return against Fulham after over a month recovering from an injury that he suffered in October. It could provide a big boost for Slot’s Reds.

Summer signing Federico Chiesa could also return against Fulham - the Italy international has been dealing with a combination of injury and a lack of match fitness in recent weeks.
