There’s a few players such as Ben Chilwell and Carney Chukwuemeka who could be set to leave the club in search of more first team football. But there is also the case of Cesare Casadei too.
I had no idea at the time why he stayed at Chelsea in the summer and I still have no idea why he did now. He was never going to be playing much at all, and at his age, the best thing he needs to be doing is playing senior football as regular as possible in order to develop his game and push on. He’s not doing that at Chelsea.

Casadei could move next month
So it comes as no surprise at all to see that The BBC are now reporting that Casadei has opened talks with Serie A side Monza over a January loan move.
The 21-year-old has received contact from the Italian club ahead of a possible move next month.
Casadei has only made the bench twice in the league and rarely features in matchday squads under Enzo Maresca.
Asked about his future in October, Casadei said: “From the moment I spoke to the manager I was 100% sure that the decision to stay was best for me to improve and for my career.
“I didn’t want to go permanently. There were some possible loans, but I have always wanted to play for Chelsea. We are one of the biggest teams in the world so I could not be more proud to play for Chelsea.”
