Everton have experienced a strange past week with their emphatic 4-0 victory over Wolves followed by a turbulent weekend.
The Merseyside Derby was postponed due to Storm Darragh which hit the west coast over the weekend with health and safety of real concern.
Although every other game in the Premier League was played, Everton were able to retain their five-point cushion on the bottom three.
However, Sean Dyche says Everton were desperate to play Liverpool, but he also admitted he was aware of just how bad the conditions were.
With dates having been speculated over recent days, it seems there is now a specific date in mind in February which is now just awaiting Premier League approval.
Though, it could be even sooner if one thing happens.

A lot could change around Goodison before then with The Friedkins expected to sack Sean Dyche and Kevin Thelwell once they land on Merseyside.
If the Merseyside Derby is going to be played on Tuesday, 11 February, it will likely fall between two games for the Toffees.
It is not certain that Everton will have a game on the weekend prior to the proposed new date with no Premier League action, due to the FA Cup fourth round.

Saturday 15 February – Crystal Palace (Away)
Everton will have to get past Peterborough in the third round of the FA Cup, with Dyche potentially having to rotate his side with the derby in mind.
