Remember these six classic wins against Everton?

As they have in every Premier League campaign, Everton are heading to north London to face us, and some of their previous trips to our corner of north London have conjured up some lifelong memories for Gooners of all ages.

We've clinched championships, gone goal crazy and seen some incredible individual displays in our home games against the Toffees, so we've dug into the archives to dig out some of the best.

To get yourself in the mood for our latest Everton encounter, here are six classic matches to whet your appetite:

**December 21, 1991**

**Arsenal 4-2 Everton**

On a crazy afternoon at Highbury, Ian Wright and Anders Limpar proved to be an unstoppable partnership as our legendary striker was assisted a remarkable four times by the Swedish midfielder.

After just 15 minutes the scoreline was 2-2, after Robert Warzycha had put the visitors ahead but Wright swiftly equalised, who then put us in front before Mo Johnson cancelled that out. However Wrighty was on fire and completed his hat-trick just 26 minutes into the contest, before sealing the points after latching onto yet another inch-perfect Limpar pass in the second half.

**May 3, 1998**

**Arsenal 4-0 Everton**

We went into this game knowing we could lift the Premier League trophy with a win, and put in the performance of champions on an unforgettable afternoon at Highbury.

Things started well when we went in front via a Slaven Bilic own goal, before a brace from Marc Overmars started the party. However, the crowning moment came when Tony Adams and Steve Bould linked up to give our iconic skipper the opportunity to blast home one of our most famous goals to put the icing on the championship cake.

**May 11, 2005**

**Arsenal 7-0 Everton**

We racked up our joint-biggest Premier League win against an Everton side who had already qualified for the Champions League via a top-four finish. Dennis Bergkamp was in sublime form and laid on assists for Robin van Persie, Robert Pires and Patrick Vieira to put us in control at the break.

In the second 45, Pires grabbed a second before Edu dispatched a penalty on his final home appearance for us, before Bergkamp got the goal his display deserved and Mathieu Flamini's first for the club completed the rout.

**February 3, 2018**

**Arsenal 5-1 Everton**

This was a game to remember for Aaron Ramsey, who netted the only hat-trick of his career as we put the Toffees to the sword with an emphatic first-half display.

The Welshman started the scoring after just six minutes, with Laurent Koscielny adding a second before Rambo completed his brace and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang netted a debut goal to make it 4-0 at half-time. Dominic Calvert-Lewin pulled one back, but Ramsey had the final say when he drove home from the edge of the box to seal the matchball.

**May 22, 2022**

**Arsenal 5-1 Everton**

The same scoreline was recorded on the final day of the 2021/22 campaign, as we ended the campaign in style. Gabriel Martinelli tucked away a penalty and Eddie Nketiah headed home to give us a healthy lead, which was reduced when Donny van der Beek sidefooted the ball home to keep Everton in it.

However, quick-fire strikes from Cedric and Gabriel following corners ensured we would be finishing with a flourish, which was made all the more emphatic when Martin Odegaard added a fifth eight minutes from time.

**March 1, 2023**

**Arsenal 4-0 Everton**

We moved five points clear at the top of the Premier League by thrashing the Toffees at Emirates Stadium. A quiet game burst into life five minutes before the break when Bukayo Saka showed sharp feet inside the area before hammering the ball past Jordan Pickford, and minutes later Martinelli tucked home a VAR-assisted strike.

After the break a strong run from Leandro Trossard allowed Odegaard to put the game to bed, and with 10 minutes to play Martinelli grabbed his second of the night when his near-post run was rewarded by latching onto an Nketiah centre, making it the 12th time we had scored four or more goals in a Premier League game against Everton.
