West Ham United and Wolves are seemingly both in the market for the same manager.
After ‘El Sackico’ on Monday night, Julen Lopetegui remained in charge at West Ham after his side beat Wolves 2-1.
Whilst many expected Gary O’Neil to be sacked, the 41-year-old is still in charge at Molineux.
West Ham are believed to be lining up replacements for Lopetegui despite Monday’s win, with Matthias Jaissle one name being linked with the job.
However, it seems like the Hammers are targeting a far more well known manager for the London Stadium hot-seat.

Wolves are said to be in for him as well.
Unfortunately for the Black Country outfit though, his preference is seemingly very clear indeed.
Wolves approach manager but his reply will excite West Ham fans
So it seems like the Hammers and Wolves are chasing down the same legendary manager.
Lopetegui and O’Neil are clearly both living on borrowed time at the London Stadium and Molineux respectively right now.

However, it seems like it’s advantage West Ham when it comes to the two clubs’ pursuit of one coach.
According to a report from The Athletic, legendary Italian manager Max Allegri has been approach by Wolves.
However, the 57-year-old turned them down because he wants the West Ham job.
That’s great news for us as far as I’m concerned.
It was actually reported earlier this week that the Hammers are the favourites to land Allegri’s signature.
The Italian is a real proven winner, and he would undoubtedly get this underperforming group of players back on track.
Max Allegri a big upgrade on Julen Lopetegui for West Ham

Allegri excels when organising his teams defensively, and that’s exactly what we need at the London Stadium.
The Hammers defence has been incredibly porous for around 12 months now, and that has to change if we are ever to achieve success.
The former Juventus and AC Milan manager, who has led his teams to six league titles since 2011, is incredibly intense.
He will never settle for anything less than 100% commitment from his players.
The Italian is currently out of work, so his availability on a free transfer means that he will undoubtedly appeal to David Sullivan.
And it wouldn’t surprise me one little bit if Max Allegri is the man to replace Julen Lopetegui at West Ham, after turning down the Wolves job.
