Andre Onana made another mistake during Manchester United's win against Viktoria Plzen
Darts champion and Manchester United fan Luke Littler urged the club to bring back David de Gea after another Andre Onana howler against Viktoria Plzen.
Onana gifted the Czech side an opening goal in Thursday's Europa League meeting. His loose clearance went straight to Pavel Sulc, and the midfielder rolled the ball across for Matej Vydra to give Plzen the lead.
It was the second time in the space of just a few days that Onana has cost his team. He was at fault for Morgan Gibbs-White's goal for Nottingham Forest on Saturday, letting a weak shot from the England international squirm into the net.
On the latest occasion, Onana was bailed out by his team-mates as a Rasmus Hojlund double turned the game in United's favour. For Premier League Darts champ Littler, though, the damage had already been done.

"Bring back Dave," Littler wrote in a now-deleted social media post, along with a glove emoji. De Gea left United on a free transfer in the summer of 2023, and was without a club for the entirety of last season before making a summer move to Fiorentina.
The Viola have thrived with the Spaniard in goal. They sit fourth in Serie A with the joint-best defensive record in the competition, and Thursday's 7-0 win at home to LASK puts them in prime position to make it straight through to the Conference League round of 16.
United themselves are in good shape for a top eight finish in the Europa League's league phase, sitting seventh ahead of matches against Rangers and FCSB. Things have been tougher domestically, though, with four points from Ruben Amorim's first four matches leaving them in 13th.

Rasmus Hojlund scored both United goals as they won in Plzen
United captain Bruno Fernandes defended Onana after the game. "We want to play from the back and everyone knows that then we have to make the right decision on the pitch," the Portuguese told TNT Sports. "Andre [Onana] thought that Matta [De Ligt] could get on the ball but he missed it and they scored a goal.
"It is not about Andre making the mistake, we don't look at individuals here when something happens on the wrong side. We have huge belief in him. He knows he made a mistake because he is a clever guy, he is going to help us many times and we trust his qualities on the ball.
"Mistakes are part of football. If they don't happen then goals don't happen. But we did well to show the resilience to come back and find the victory."
