Italian sources claim Milan directors and Zlatan Ibrahimovic didn’t show up at Milanello to follow a training session on Thursday as they didn’t want to delegitimize Paulo Fonseca after his Champions League rant on Wednesday.
Fonseca and Milan’s directors didn’t meet at the club’s training ground on Thursday as the club executives didn’t want to discredit the coach in the team’s eyes, providing full support in his decisions.

Club directors reportedly believe that Fonseca is the only one in charge of technical matters and ensured the coach felt their support.
According to Gazzetta and Corriere dello Sport, Fonseca, Ibrahimovic, and club directors met Thursday afternoon after a morning training session at Milanello.
Reports claim Fonseca already met individually with French star Theo Hernandez, insisting that the talented full-back must focus on the Rossoneri only.
Theo reportedly acknowledged not being at the peak of his form so he could start on the bench in Sunday’s Serie A match against Genoa.
