Barcelona have firmly established themselves as the dominant force in both La Liga and European competitions when it comes to scoring goals.
To put things in perspective, no other team has been as productive or leader-focused as they have been.
The team’s offensive strength is reflected not only in the tournament rankings but also in the individual scoring charts, where they hold the top spot for both team and individual scorers.
A look at the stats
So far, Barcelona have scored an impressive total of 71 goals in just 23 official matches, averaging almost three goals per game.
In La Liga, they lead the way with 50 goals, comfortably ahead of Real Madrid, who sit second with 34 goals—16 behind.
Barcelona’s goal difference of +31 is unmatched, further highlighting their attacking prowess. Even though they have conceded 19 goals, which is one of the highest figures among the top teams, their offensive output more than compensates for it.

When it comes to individual achievements, the Pichichi Trophy, awarded to the top scorer in La Liga, currently belongs to Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski.
With 16 goals, he is ahead of teammate Raphinha, who has scored 11. The next closest players are Ante Budimir from Osasuna and Kylian Mbappe from Real Madrid, both with 9 goals, but they are still far behind the two Barcelona players.
What about the Champions League?
In European competition, Barcelona’s scoring dominance is equally impressive. In six matches, they have scored 21 goals, averaging three goals per game.
Borussia Dortmund, whom they recently faced, are second with 18 goals. Barcelona’s goal difference in Europe stands at +14, with 7 goals being scored against them. Liverpool follow closely with a +12 goal difference.
Lewandowski continues to lead the European top scorer charts with 7 goals, closely followed by Raphinha with 6, who shares second place with Dortmund’s Serhou Guirassy.
Both players scored in the recent match against the German side, further cementing their role as key contributors to Barcelona’s offensive power.
