Everton make their return to Premier League action on the weekend with a trip to the capital to face Arsenal.
It has now been over a week since Everton took to the pitch following their emphatic victory over Wolves last week.
Storm Darragh postponed the Merseyside Derby last weekend, which has offered Sean Dyche’s side with some extra time to rest and recover.
Whether that will make any difference against an Arsenal side who are sat third in the league will have to be seen, however,
The Gunners have played twice across the Premier League and Champions League since Everton’s last game.
But the Toffees have now seen a potential tactic they could employ to use against the north London side.

How Everton can beat Arsenal’s set pieces
A big part of Arsenal’s success this season has come from their ability to score from set pieces.
The Gunners have caused plenty of sides issues from dead-ball situations, but they are not alone, with Everton also impressing from set pieces this season.

Arsenal were in action on Wednesday night in the Champions League where AS Monaco showed a potential tactic to help weaken Arsenal’s threat.
Journalist Kaya Kaynak was in attendance on Wednesday and he shared how Monaco left players up top to force Arsenal to hold some of their own players back.
“Interesting here. Arsenal get a corner and Monaco leave three players up in attack reducing the number of Arsenal players crowding the box. Is this the set piece antidote?” he said.
This has not stopped Paul Merson from tipping Everton to lose to Arsenal on the weekend as he feels the Gunners have too much quality.
But Dyche’s side will be hoping to pick up from where they left off against Wolves last time out having now had well over a week to recover.
What Sean Dyche said about Arsenal’s set pieces
Ahead of the planned Merseyside Derby, Liverpool manager Arne Slot praised Everton’s threat from set pieces.
Speaking in his press conference on Thursday, Dyche was quick to highlight that he is very much aware of Arsenal’s ability from dead-ball situations.
“Well there’s a lot being spoken about their set piece prowess, but I think that’s been there for a while and then it’s been suggested they’ve not been as clinical in their general play,” said Dyche.
“But the thing which it often goes down to – not always – is sometimes there are clever set pieces, quick set pieces, but often it’s down to the delivery and intent. And that’s something I’ve always preached strongly to the groups I’ve worked with.”
Although he expects Arsenal to win on the weekend, Merson has hailed Everton’s set-piece quality in recent weeks claiming it’s their biggest strength.
