'Not quite': Alan Myers shares six-word message just minutes after huge Everton takeover update

A huge Everton takeover update has just emerged on Friday morning with The Friedkin Group taking a major step closer.

Everton’s takeover saga is finally coming to an end with The Friedkin Group now set to take over on Merseyside.

It was suggested earlier this week that Everton’s takeover would likely go through next week and that now seems to be the case.

The Friedkin Group acted with more discretion than other parties did which appealed to Farhad Moshiri during the process.

Sitting 15th in the league has not provided a lot for Everton fans to cheer about this season, but now it is time to get excited.

The Friedkin Group secure Premier League approval for Everton takeover

Last month, The Friedkin Group received FA and FCA approval as they made a big leap forward in their interest of the Toffees.

According to Alan Myers, the Friedkins have now sealed the approval of the Premier League to take over at Everton.

However, he has also admitted the takeover is still not complete, as he told one fan: ‘Not quite but no issues expected’.

Big changes are heading the way of Everton with new owners and a new stadium set to transform the club going into the New Year.

But there are issues in-house that they will be looking to deal with as the Friekdins arrive with big plans for Everton.

What happens once Everton’s takeover is complete?

Well, the Friedkin Group already have plenty of things to sort out at Everton, with Sean Dyche and Kevin Thelwell set for reviews.

It’s been claimed that Everton already have their eyes on Dan Ashworth, who recently left Manchester United, so the early signs aren’t great for Thelwell.

Meanwhile, the January transfer window is around the corner, with plenty to solve on that front.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Michael Keane’s contract situations are both up in the air, whilst Beto is continously being linked with a move to Italy.
