Marc Guiu was in sensational form as Chelseamanaged to beat Astana in the UECL. The Blues were heading into match day 5 with a 100% record. Owing to their win, their record continues. At the same time, the London club are at the top of the table in the league phase. Additionally, their qualification is pretty much a guarantee at this point of time. So manager Enzo Maresca will have another chance to experiment with the squad in the final league phase game. As it stands, the Blues are pretty much the favorites to win the tournament. As a result, they could go on to add an European trophy to their collection for the first time since 2021.
Marc Guiu shines
The 18-year-old forward joined the Blues from Barcelonasince summer. Since joining, he hasn’t really played that often. But that is totally understandable. Especially given Nicolas Jackson’s form up front. Meanwhile, Christopher Nkunku is also putting on quite a show this season. As a result, the youngster is quite below the pecking order. Nonetheless, he still managed to put on quite a show for Chelsea in the game against Astana. He was directly involved in 2 of the 3 goals yesterday.
Was happy for guiu today. He played really well. He took his first goal really goal well and was very imposing.
The second goal he was in the right place at the right time in the box. His passing accuracy was good too. pic.twitter.com/pldjWcm6vv

Chelsea win again
It is a great time to be a Chelsea fan. All key players are in good form. At the same time, the Blues are second in the Premier League. Moreover, things could not be more better in Europe. Even young players are really performing. Despite the limited gametime, as per transfermarkt, Marc Guiu has already scored thrice for the Blues. He could go on to become a solid backup option for them in the upcoming years. And if he continues to improve, he will be a starter soon enough too. Hopefully, he will continue to shine for club and country.
